Club73 GT League Round 5 of 11: Monza

After a poor showing at the Red Bull Ring I was keen to make some changes for round 5. First of all I needed to make sure I was comfortable with fuel so I wouldn’t have to worry about saving it. Secondly I needed to remove mistakes from my race as these were consistently costing me multiple places. It was no good being as quick as the leaders if I couldn’t keep the car on the black stuff.

Bayford Meadows Summer Cup Round 1

Saturday the 26th July saw the restart of competitive hire karting at Bayford Meadows with the start of the 3 round Summer Cup. It was the usual format with each driver competing in 3 10 lap races with a short practice before each race. There was a bumper entrance with a record 6 heats – and with weather conditions changeable it was going to be an interesting afternoon.
